Thirty university students were food poisoned after eating a meal at a youth Hostel in  Aswan governorate, a Health Directorate source said Monday.

After eating a rotten chicken meal, the students, visiting the tourist governorate as part of a journey for Egyptian universities, began vomiting and suffering from stomach aches, the source said.

They were rushed to Aswan Fever Hospital and were kept under medical observation.
