The Chinese Jinan University began offering internationally recognized two-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) courses to students at the Myanmar Chinese Chamber of Commerce (MCCC) here Friday. Organized by Chinese Jinan University in collaboration with MCCC, the school will accept about 20 students for the course and classes will be taught by professional Myanmar and Chinese teachers both in Myanmar and English languages. "We open this school in cooperation with Jinan aimed at promoting social and economic status of Myanmar to keep abreast with other countries," said U Kyee Sein, president of MCCC, at the inaugural ceremony of the Myanmar-China MBA program. The famous Jinan University in Guangzhou, south China, was set up in 1906 and started to offer MBA program in 1993, nurturing more than 4,500 MBA graduated students till now. There are about five institutes offering MBA programs in Myanmar, including Yangon Institute of Economics, University of Thai Chamber of Commerce and Myanmar Imperial College.
