Commander of King Hamad University Hospital Brigadier General Shaikh Salman bin Attiyattallah Al Khalifa today stated that the hospital was ready to receive pregnant women from the first month through the eighth month only until the medical team is able to create medical files for the patients. Shaikh Salman also affirmed that the emergency and accidents section at the hospital will be opened March 1st, 2012 for all cases with the exception of road accidents and those transported by ambulance from 2 pm until midnight. This is being undertaken to ensure the better operation of the unit. The official opening of the unit will be held April 1st of this year.
