Education and Higher Learning minister, Marwan Hamadeh, on Friday followed up on the issue of the abused student at the Lebanese Kuwaiti public school in Sidon. Hamadeh hereby assigned Bassem Abbas, the head of educational affairs in the region, to suspend the abusive teacher and interrogate him tomorrow (Saturday) as today is a day off for the city's schools. 
Hamadeh is to be informed of the investigations outcome, so as to take the necessary action.
