Higher Education Minister Ashraf el Shehy asserted on Monday the importance of developing the academic and administrative performance system of higher technical education institutions.
This came during his meeting with members of committee assigned with developing the academic and administrative performance system of higher technical education institutions.
The minister stressed the importance of benefiting from the latest scientific achievements and experiences of leading countries in this field, including Germany.
He also highlighted the crucial role of the civil society and businessmen in developing scientific, educational and training systems in Egypt.
He also stressed the importance of establishing a coordinating council for technology education and vocational training that aims to train technicians.
The minister also underlined the importance of developing current technology faculties and establishing more significant technology universities.
