Ajman - WAM
H.H. Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid Al Nuaimi, Crown Prince of Ajman and President of the Executive Council, today inaugurated the "Happiness Station" at the Preventive Medicine Centre in Al Hamidiyah, which aims to save the time and effort of its customers and complete all their transactions in one place, and within a deadline of five days instead of 10.
Sheikh Ammar bin Humaid and his accompanying delegation toured the various sections of the Happiness Station, which was launched as part of the government accelerator to reduce the required period of issuing residency permits to people moving to Ajman for work, based on the desire of the Ministry of Health to support initiatives that serve the community and achieve sustainable development.
He was also briefed about the innovative services provided by the station, and the laboratory, blood and radiation equipment that comply with the highest standards.
Other initiatives were also launched to guarantee sustainability and achieve rapid results, similar to the customers awareness initiative at the Happiness Station that was organised by the Ministry of Health and Community Prevention, in cooperation with relevant authorities concerned with issuing residency permits, such as the General Department of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Ajman, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation, and the Federal Authority for Identity and Nationality.
Sheikh Ammar praised the outcome of the government accelerators, which exceeded expectations after 100 successful days and reduced the required period to issue residency permits within four days by 90 percent, as well the period of stay in Ajman by workers without residency permits, from the date of their entry to the country, by 30 percent.
