"The Emirati women used to have the support of Late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who was a strong advocate for the colossal role played by women in the society, an approach that has been closely followed by President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces along with their brothers the Rulers of the Emirates who left no stones unturned to continue the march of women’s empowerment at the economic and social levels," said H.H. Sheikha Fatima.
"The National Strategy for Empowerment of Emirati Women in UAE is premised to ensuring development of all female cadres across the nation so that they become capable of making effective contributions to the country's economy."
Continuing to support the Emirati women is a must as they constitute a key for achieving peace and progress, said H.H. Sheikha Fatima, noting that women are capable of efficiently disseminating the culture of giving and benevolence thanks to their special potential.
Addressing Emirati women, H.H. Sheikha Fatima said, "You have achieved unexpected progress and you have proved your worth in all areas you have worked at. Don't stop and continue to forge ahead toward the future as the future abounds in more prospects for growth awaiting you and your sons and daughters whom you have to use all your potential to bring up in the best possible way following in the footsteps of your fathers and ancestors."
H.H. Sheikha Fatima added that the State has spared no efforts in supporting and standing by Emirati women on all occasions, dedicating a Commemoration Day in recognition of the martyrs who have sacrificed their lives for the sake of the homeland as well as in appreciation of the hefty responsibilities shouldered by the martyrs’ mothers and wives.
