For this edition of Emirati Expressions, we are engaging with a number of Abu Dhabi's social clubs and involving them within the core of the curatorial theme of the exhibition, to reflect the diversity of the communities, which have been in the capital for decades. We look forward to welcoming art enthusiasts to Artscape."
The fourth edition of Emirati Expressions IV: Conventions of Arts opened on November 12th, 2015 and will run until March 31st, 2016. The diversity of works include wearable art, photography, furniture design, interactive video installations, paintings, illustrations, and large-scale sculptures.
Alongside the main exhibition at Manarat Al Saadiyat, artists have been invited to produce site-specific works for Abu Dhabi's diverse and historic social clubs. The works of various artists can be found in the India Social and Cultural Centre, Writers Union, and the Armed Forces Officers Club.
