The Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM) received on Friday 362 artifacts belonging to Tutankhamun and Ramesses IX kings, General Director of Primary Restoration at the GEM Essa Zidan said on Friday.
The artifacts, coming from the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, will be stored in preparation for display at the opening of the GEM, he added.
A committee formed to move the monuments has overseen an initial renovation of all transferred items and prepared a report on the status of each piece upon delivery, he asserted.
