Antiquities Minister Mamdouh Damaty said on Sunday that a new archaeological tomb was discovered in Luxor.

The tomb dates back to the 26th dynasty and was discovered by a US-Egyptian archaeological team, he added.

The tomb belongs to one of ancient Egypt's ministers, he noted.
