The biggest Egyptian antiquities stores of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization will be partially opened later Thursday, the minister of antiquities said.
Mamduh al-Damaty said 10 huge stone blocks will be transferred from Saqqara to the new Fustat stores - which could house 100,000 artifacts.
The 8,000 cubic meter stores are set up in accordance with international scientific standards, he added.
