Visiting Chinese Culture Minister Luo Shugang continued tours of cultural and archaeological sites in Luxor on Thursday.

The Egyptian civilization has impressed the world with the antiquities it left behind showing how advanced it had been, Luo said.

The Chinese minister toured Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple and the culture palace of Luxor. He watched performances by the Luxor troupe for Arabic music and the Luxor troupe for folkloric tools.

He also visited a fine arts gallery and an Egyptian-Chinese photography fair.
