Culture Ministry stops artistic activities for 3 days over MS804 crash

The Culture Ministry has mourned the death of victims of EgyptAir flight MS804 that crashed into the Mediterranean early Thursday.

Helmy el Namnam, the Culture Minister, declared a three-day mourning during which all artistic activities will be stopped.

"We condole with families of the Egyptian and foreign victims," Namnam said.

He stressed the need for all world countries to unite in the face of terrorism, which he called "an international phenomenon".
