Cairo - MENA
The joint Egyptian-Japanese committee concerned with implementing the Grand Egyptian Museum is working hard to overcome all obstacles hindering the finalization of this national project, Antiquities Minister Mamdouh el Damaty said on Thursday.
In statements, Damaty said the Egyptian government has allocated 216 million pounds to partially open the museum in 2018 as scheduled.
This museum will be one of the largest museums across the world, he noted.
