Head of Egypt's center for cultural and educational relations Nashaar Daif held a meeting with director of the Mauritanian Institute for Scientific Research.

The meeting tackled Egypt's efforts to preserve thousands of endangered Mauritanian manuscripts.

The Egyptian official voiced readiness to coordinate among the authorities concerned with archaeological heritage in Nouakchott and Cairo.
