The Awqaf Ministry organized on Sunday a ceremony to honor a number of Holy Quran memorizers across the nation.

In his speech, Chairman of the Religious Sector at the Awqaf Ministry Mohamed Omar called for applying the teachings of the Holy Quran to develop the Egyptian society.

The prizes given to 150 Quran reciters ranged between 10,000 and 500 pounds.
