The Egyptian cultural office in Riyadh will hold a huge celebration on Thursday coinciding with the inauguration of the new Suez Canal in Egypt.

The celebration will be held under the slogan "Egyptians challenging time, making history: people's epic ..leader's vision.

In a statement Wednesday, Egyptian cultural adviser in Saudi Arabia Mohamed Othman el Khesht invited all Egyptians in Saudi Arabia to attend the celebration.

On the occasion, the office will hold an exhibition on the history of the Suez Canal and its role in development.
