Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square

The Egyptian Museum at Tahrir Square will celebrate on Friday the 94th anniversary of Tutankhamun tomb discovery.

A number of artifacts of Tutankhamun's king will be showcased at the museum, said director of the Egyptian Museum Sabah Abdel Razek in statements Thursday.

On November 4, 1922 in Egypt’s Valley of the Kings, British archaeologist Howard Carter and his workmen discovered a step leading to the tomb of King Tutankhamun, which held spectacular artifacts and the mummy of the boy king.
