Minister of Antiquities Mamdouh el Damati on Sunday inaugurated an exhibition including 40 relics that were discovered in the Suez Canal region.

The inauguration of the exhibition, located at the Egyptian Museum, is a part of celebrations marking the inauguration of the New Suez Canal, due on Thursday.

The month-long exhibition will group the relics and 20 photographic plates.
