Ramallah - MENA
Fatah Movement will defend Islamic and Christian sacred sites in eastern Al Quds, especially Al Aqsa Mosque and its compound, the movement's spokesman said Thursday.
Osama al Qwasmy said the Palestinians were determined to stay in their land and would never depart despite the ethnic cleansing conducted by the Israeli occupation state.
The Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's racist decisions would never terrorize the Palestinians, al Qwasmy said.
The spokesman warned that Netanyahu should realize that his acts against Al Aqsa and other sacred places would destabilize the region, and ignite religious tensions, which would spill over the whole world.
Referring to Netanyahu's plans to Judaize Al Quds and separate the whole compound, al Qwasmy urged the Arab leaders to take immediate actions at all levels to counter the Israeli aggression against the Palestinians and their sanctities.
He also praised those who defend Al Aqsa mosque as defending the Arab, Islamic, and Christian dignity.
Tensions have been on the rise in eastern al Quds over the past few days after the Israeli government outlawed two Palestinian groups knows as Morabitoun and Morabitat and denied them access to Aqsa Mosque.
The latest move was seen by the Palestinians as another attempt by Israel to divide the mosque.
