Deputy of Cairo Governor for the Southern Region General El Sayyed Nasr said Helwan city will totally be revamped to restore its position in the therapeutic tourism under a comprehensive plan that will include the wax museum, Cabritage health center, the Japanese garden and Helwan springs.
In statements on Sunday, Nasr said the governorate will establish a market to remove street vendors around Helwan metro station to it. The market will be established in Ain Helwan district on an area of 10,000 square meters.
Another market will be set up beside Helwan bus station which serve those willing to travel to Upper Egypt, he added.
He said locations allocated for establishing the market have been prepared and infrastructure will be soon finalized to serve the market goers.
