Israel banned the call for prayers at Ibrahimi Mosque in the city of al Khalil (Hebron) south of the West Bank 47 times in July, the mosque director said on Saturday.
The occupation authorities alleged that the calls cause annoyance to the Israeli settlers, Munzir Abul Filat said in a statement.
Muslims call for prayers five times a day to invite people to come to mosques.
