King Hamad Mosque in Muharraq new civilisational milestone

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments, Dr. Fareed bin Yaqoob Al-Meftah affirmed that His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's era has enriched the construction of mosques in Bahrain.
The number of mosques built as per royal orders issued by HM King Hamad and implemented by the Justice Ministry has reached 100, the Undersecretary said.
Dr. Al-Mefah asserted that HM the King's order to build the "King Hamad Mosque" in Muharraq crowns the mosque construction march in the kingdom during HM King Hamad's era, noting that the state-of-the-art mosque will embrace all Muslims as it will be the largest in Bahrain regarding the number of worshippers it can accommodate.
The mosque will be a new milestone in HM the King's approach, he said, noting that the mosque reflects the distinguished qualities of HM King Hamad and the Al-Khalifa Royal Family members who, he affirmed, have always been known for love for constructing mosques all over the kingdom.
The undersecretary extended deep thanks and gratitude to HM the King for his kind gesture.
"The King Hamad Mosque in Muharraq will be a house of worship and a civilisational monument that reflects the extent of the interest of the Al-Khalifa rulers in the Islamic civilisation, especially regarding mosques," he said, adding that the grand mosque is a living proof of the unity of Muslim community in Bahrain under the leadership of HM King Hamad.
