King Tut mask

Mamdouh el Damaty, the tourism minister in the caretaker government, said Tuesday that an Egyptian-German committee tasked with renovating the golden mask of King Tut Ankh Amoun decided to lift the
ancient artifact, currently on display at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, out of its place as of October 10.

In a statement, Damaty added the committee completed a study to determine the best way to fix the mask and a specialized team would then start renovating it.
