Cairo - MENA
General Supervisor of the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization in El Fustat area in Old Cairo Mahrous Saeed denied news reports by some websites that 38 archaeological artifacts were damaged at the museum's stores.
Saeed also refuted in statements on Tuesday that some officials at the museum are questioned into the incident.
"It is groundless," he said, adding all artifacts are in good condition and are not affected by transfer processes.
The museum received 38 artifacts dating back to the Muhammad Ali Pasha dynasty.
