President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has delegated Defense Minister Sedqi Sobhi to lay a wreath at the tomb of late Egyptian president Gamal Abdel Nasser.

Nasser died September 28, 1970.

Sobhi recently returned to Egypt after performing the hajj ritual in Saudi Arabia.

While in the Saudi Arabia, Sobhi had met with Deputy Crown Prince Mohamed bin Salman, who also serves as Saudi Defense Minister, to discuss bilateral cooperation.
