His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa received at Gudaibiya Palace today newly-appointed Sudanese Ambassador to Bahrain Ibrahim Mohammed Al Hassan who conveyed to him the greetings of Sudanese President Omar Hassan Al Bashir and his best wishes of continuous good health and happiness.
The Sudanese Ambassador also conveyed to HRH the Prime Minister an invitation by First Vice President and Prime Minister General Bakri Hassan Saleh.
HRH the Premier lauded growing relations between Bahrain and Sudan which reflect strong ties binding both countries and peoples. He stressed Bahrain's keenness on further boosting bilateral cooperation mainly in the economic, trade and investment fields, pointing out the importance of activating joint agreements and memoranda of understanding mainly in the agricultural, food security and animal wealth fields.
The Sudanese Ambassador expressed heartfelt thanks and gratitude to HRH the Premier for his keenness to further cement relations between the two brotherly countries, praising his visions and stances to foster pan-Arab cooperation. He also underlined his country's keenness to further promote bilateral relations and cooperation, lauding Bahrain's development at all levels.
