Interior Minister, Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa received here today a delegation from the French Senate. 

Deputy Interior Minister and Chief of Public Security attended the meeting.

The minister welcomed the guests for their visits to the Kingdom of Bahrain to exchange views, hailing the bilateral ties between the two friendly countries. 

He briefed them about the efforts of the Interior Ministry to protect security and safety of all citizens and residents.

He said that the development projects are part of the reform project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, through a comprehensive programme to enhance police performance. 

He also hailed dedication to promote security cooperation between the two countries. The meeting also reviewed topics of common interest.
