President of Kyrgyzstan Almazbek Atambayev met on Wednesday with Iran's Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who is currently visiting Bishkek.
During the meeting, they discussed issues of mutual interest as well as ways of enhancing cooperation between the two countries. Earlier today, the Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Erlan Abdyldaev discussed with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif ways to develop cooperation, especially in the economic sphere.
Zarif had arrived in Kyrgyzstan last night from Tbilisi as part of a tour that also included Turkmenistan and Georgia.
