The body of former Cairo governor Abdel Azeem Wazir will be carried home from Paris on Wednesday morning.

The funeral prayers will be performed after Al-Dhur prayer in Al Rahman Al Rahim Mosque on Salah Salem street.

Wazir had occupied several senior posts including the dean of Mansoura Faculty of Law and then governor of Damietta before holding the post of Cairo governor during the period 2004-2011.
