The 25th session of the Egyptian-Jordanian Higher Committee will kick off in Amman on Wednesday, under Egypt's Prime Minister Ibrahim Mahlab and his Jordanian counterpart Abdullah Ensour.
Egypt's Minister of International Cooperation Nagla Al Ahwani and Jordanian Minister of Industry and Trade Maha Ali are currently chairing the preparatory meetings of the 25th session.
The Ministers of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, Electricity, Industry and Foreign Trade, Manpower & Immigration, Renewable Energy, and Transportation take part in the meetings.
Egypt and Jordan's trade exchange hit $732 million in 2014, Ahwani said.
Jordanian contributions in Egyptian investment companies amount to $501.7 million in more than 1,430 companies, while Egyptian investments in Jordan are equivalent to approximately $310 million, the minister added.
