Skhirat - MENA
The UN envoy to Libya said on Sunday the second stage of Libya dialogue will start after Eid vacation, stressing that all participants in the different tracks of the dialogue were invited.
The Tobruk-based parliament as well as representatives from municipalities in Tripoli and the western city of Misrata signed on Saturday an initial power-sharing agreement under the sponsorship of the UN but without the attendance of the Tripoli-based General National Congress.
Signatories to the initial agreement urged the delegation to attend the post-Eid meeting to have a role in the political process in Libya.
They expressed readiness to start steps to form a national unity government capable of materializing the aspirations of the Libyan people.
