As many as 247 tourists of different nationalities visited Saint Catherine city over the past 24 hours, head of Saint Catherine Municipality El Sayed Abdel Sadeq said on Sunday.

The figure includes 139 foreigners and 108 Egyptians, he said.

They toured Saint Catherine's Monastery, Mount Sinai, Saint Catherine Nature Reserve, Jebel Abbas, as well as several other religious and archaeological sites, he added.
