Gunmen, believed to be members of al-Qaeda terrorist organization, carried out, on Tuesday, an attack against soldiers of Yemeni army, leaving deaths and injuries. A security source said that the militants ambushed by firing a barrage of bullets at soldiers on a road in Al-Dali'a directorate, in Hadramout province, killing three soldiers from the guard of the director of security directorate.

The National Army website, "September Net," quoted field sources as saying that the National Army forces foiled, on Tuesday, an attempt to infiltrate the elements of the militia coup on their positions in the soft yellow front of the Directorate of Asilan.

Fighting between the army and militia forces lasted for several hours to include Akkada and Alam areas at Al Safraa front. During the battles, the coup militia suffered heavy losses in equipment and lives among its fighters. The National Army forces represented in Abu Al Abbas brigades and martyr Abdul-Raqeeb Abdul Wahab, achieved great victories in the western district of Taiz.

The forces of Abu Al Abbas brigades seized a number of positions and completely liberated the area of Al-Afira. The attack came after a fierce attack, on Tuesday, in the positions of Houthis and Saleh militias in Al Kadha front, where they took control of many strategic areas and institutions.

Maj. Jawas al-Qurashi, the field commander in martyr Abdul-Raqeeb

Abdul Wahab brigades, said that the army forces continue their operations aimed at liberating Al Kadha, stressing that the morale of the army heroes is high especially after the great progress it has made today and the past days. Al-Qureshi thanked the Arab coalition forces for their support to the national army.

The coalition aircraft launched two raids, one of which targeted militia groups and resulted in a number of deaths and injuries. Osama al-Sama'i, a member of the military, was killed and another wounded when a mine planted by militias exploded in the areas where they had pulled out.

In the meantime, the Arab coalition fighters launched air strikes targeting the positions and gatherings of the coup militia in the same Directorate. In the past few hours, coalition fighters have targeted groups of the militia and military apparatuses in the 48 camps. They have been dispersed around the capital Sana'a from the east and south sides.

Abdullah al-Ashraf, a spokesman for the Popular Resistance in al-Jawf, told Arabs Today that a landmine planted by Houthis on a general road in the northeast of the Al-Shaaf municipality killed four family members and wounded others of the same family.

He stressed that fierce fighting broke out in al-Jawf, weeks ago, between the government forces and Houthi militias in al-Masloub directorate. He pointed out that Houthi militias are escalating militarily in desperate attempts to achieve military progress, but the army forces deter all of their attempts by different types of weapons.
