The coalition to restore legitimacy for Yemen confirmed that they have carried out on Monday significant operations against the militias of Houthi and Saleh to secure the southern Saudi borders. The operations resulted in huge losses among the coupers and the detention of many.
Spokesman for the Saudi-led Coalition Forces Colonel Turki al-Maliki said that the coalition forces have carried out a number of military operations during the past few hours to destroy the capabilities of the aggressors and secure the southern borders of the Kingdom.
On the other hand, Former Yemeni Ambassador to the United Nations Ibrahim al-Adoufi held Houthi and Saleh militias responsible for the worsening crisis of the displaced in Yemen.
At a seminar on displacement in Yemen held at the UN headquarters in Geneva Monday, Adoufi stressed that the problem of displacement in Yemen will only be solved by achieving a lasting and comprehensive peace for the return of displaced people to their cities and villages.
He considered that the coupists are responsible for this crisis, and he called on the international community to address this issue and put an end for their violations.
For his part, Head of True Human Rights Institution Issam al-Muthni al-Shaari explained that the number of people displaced by force during this year was 17,428, including 4,546 women and 5,640 children, according to the Yemeni Coalition for Monitoring Human Rights Violations.
Director of the executive unit of the camp management Najib Saadi pointed out that the number of displaced Yemenis reached until March 2015 about 148,000 people, and it amounted to more than 407,000 people in May 2017.
