Glossier is a new beauty brand created by the team behind
Having tested plenty of the world's top products and interviewed women galore on their own beauty regimens, Into the Gloss founder Emily Weiss seems like the ideal person to come up with a finger-on-the-pulse skincare and cosmetics line. She obviously agreed, as the beauty editor has worked with the former head of product development at MAC and a number of other industry experts on Glossier, a new line inspired by the idea of "skincare as makeup."
They've launched online with four key products (with a few options for different skin tones) and all of them come individually (ranging from $12 to $26) or as part of the Glossier Phase 1 Set available for $80. The kit contains a soothing face mist, a priming moisturizer, a skin balm and a perfecting skin tint, plus a cute pink bubble-wrap plastic travel case. According to Weiss they're "everything you need, in my humble opinion, to make you immediately look like the best version of yourself."
The products come with pretty minimalist packaging (white and pink with black text) but you're also supplied with stickers to customize them as you see fit. As expected the brand's Instagram presence is typically lustworthy, with plenty of beauty tips and extra content hosted (and coming) via the Girl blog.
