Unique collection

Unique collection Michael Kors started day 7 of New York Fashion week with sporty and glamorous collection. His show was filled with bold plaids, oversized knits and mega doses of fur. The wardrobe included a sexy, luxe glove-leather trenchcoat. It was all about \"sporty American glamour,\" Kors explained. He described the collection as rugged elegance.
\"I thought about the \'30s and those glamorous Hollywood couples, the Clark Gables and Carole Lombards,\" he said in an interview backstage.
Womenswear had an equally off-duty feeling with red and black striped poncho skirts worn with cashmere sweaters and buffalo check fringed cashmere coats in the same colours. textures of classic tweed were mixed with mohair, big knits and leather. Aran knits  were worn with silk and sequinned skirts that were cut asymmetrically so they were shorter at the front.
Kors told an interviewer that one could simply wear the coats in this collection to the corner store to grab milk, on top of a sweat suit, and still look glamorous.
Many celebrities attended the fashion show including Jessica Alba Debra Messing.
