Rihanna is the new face of Armani

Rihanna is the new face of Armani Rihanna has officially been named the new face of the Autumn-Winter 2011-2012 Emporio Armani Underwear and Armani Jeans ad campaigns, replacing beautiful actress Megan Fox. This does not come as a surprise considering that she has a body to-die-for, and a unique fashion sense. Fans want to dress like her and designers want to dress her.

Last week before the official announcement Rihanna Tweeted: 'U would NEVER guess what I’m doing right now!!! 'Hint Hint #Armani.' She added: "Today is SO MUCH fun!!! We still goin... BIG day #EmporioArmani."

The songstress was spotted in New York on a photo shoot for the ad campaign, although we are going to have to wait that little longer before we see the final results. It is still unknown whether tennis player Rafael Nadal, who is the current male face of the Armani campaign, will be shooting with Rihanna.

Rihanna will follow in the footsteps of Fox and Victoria Beckham; however Armani have made a neat choice in picking Rihanna, seeing that she is much curvier than Fox and Beckham and her body is idolized by women all over the world. The sexy singer will bring a new dimension to the brand and most likely draw in a new type of consumer.
There’s no doubt the pictures will come out looking flawless and reflect Rihanna’s confidence, as the 23-year-old said to Vogue: ''I realized that I actually like my body, I just feel sexy. For the first time, I don't want to get rid of the curves. My body is comfortable, and it's not unhealthy, so I'm going to rock with it."

Rihanna has already been snapped up by other brands; she has been the face of Cover Girl cosmetics since 2007, and is the face of Nivea, and Coconut water brand Vita Coco.

Stay on the lookout for Rihanna’s Armani pictures this September.
