Miuccia Prada knows how to pick 'em. This season the Miu Miu designer presents young Anglo-French actress Stacy Martin as a doe-eyed 1960s superstar in her latest advertising campaign.
Steven Meisel shot the black and white images, which feature high contrast lighting and bare sets inspired by Andy Warhol's work. Following her breakthrough earlier this year in Lars Von Trier's "Nymphomaniac," 23-year-old Martin appears in the Fall/Winter 2014 collection's transparent plastic pieces, quilted nylon, brocade, knits and astrakhan.
Over the past year or so the brand has picked out a new generation of acting talent as faces for Miu Miu campaigns including "Blue is the Warmest Color" leads Léa Seydoux and Adèle Exarchopoulos, and LA-based stars Bella Heathcote, Elizabeth Olsen, Elle Fanning and Lupita Nyong'o.
