WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie ‘City’ in black

Montreal-based twins Dexter and Byron Peart, the designers behind the minimalist Canadian accessories brand, have revealed their first full collection of women's bags.
WANT Les Essentiels de la Vie's debut women's line includes a range of leather totes, handbags, bowling bags and gloves, all launching this week at Barneys New York in North America.
The streamlined pieces feature highly functional interiors (spaces not just for toiletries and small items, but sections for tech, sketchbooks, writing and drawing tools): "We designed this collection for strong women," explained Byron Peart. "Professional, artist, mother, entrepreneur -- she's not easily typecast, but she knows exactly what she wants," adds Dexter.
The Fall/Winter 2014 collection will be available exclusively at Barneys New York in North America, and to Japanese consumers at Tomorrowland, with prices ranging from $595 up to $1,495.
The brand previously collaborated with J.Crew on a women's Two-Way Tote bag, which was released last summer.
