Algeria and Morocco to renew media cooperation

Algerian Naser Mahl and Moroccan Mustafa al-Khalfi The Moroccan communications minister, Mostafa al-Khalfi, said Sunday that it was essential to renew the media cooperation agreement between Morocco and Algeria to include new developments and current technology.
Al-Khalfi said after his meeting with Algerian counterpart Naser Mahl attended by both countries\' delegations that “the practical way to enhance cooperation between the two countries is to think in an Algerian–Moroccan forum for journalists held alternately between the two countries, and to agree on the cooperation draft and renewing it\".
The minister added: “We all need to think how to applied such policies to serve future generations.\"
Al-Khalfi confirmed that “the people are looking forward to the implementation of these polices “.
The Moroccan minister added that “it was an opportunity to share these responsibilities”.
Al-Khalfi is on a three-day visit to Algeria. He is to visit the Institution of Public Broadcasting and Algerian Television. The programme includes a press meet with the Algerian Press Service where a cooperation agreement between the APS and the Moroccan news agency will be signed.
