Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Learning Program (MBRSLP), the main incubator of innovation and creativity, takes part in The UAE nationwide "innovation week" November 20 to 26, 2016.
In a nationwide tour, the pioneering innovation program will highlight its participants' innovative projects.
Since its inception in December 2012, "Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning Program (MBRSLP) holds a distinguished record that aims at fulfilling the UAE’S 2021 Vision to become a world-class nation for innovation and progressive education.
The program laid the benchmarks and requirements necessary for creating a dynamic ecosystem in which technology is integrated with learning to stimulate innovation in governmental schools.
UAE innovation week will touch upon a plethora of innovative ideas, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education. As part of the Sharjah innovation fair, Al Majd School with Expo Sharjah will gear up to showcase "the smart radio "and ”Etihad kit” for innovators. Meanwhile, other talented students will show their skills in using 3D printers to make models.
In the same vein, students in the Emirate of Ajman, in collaboration with the Ministry of Culture and Knowledge Development, demonstrate their aptitude in making smart broadcasts. Further, the Ministry will polish their skills through training workshops.
As part of an "Innovation Day" hosted by the school of Falj Al Mualla in the Emirate of Om Al Quwain, all schools in the Emirate will compete showcasing their innovative projects.
In the Emirate of Dubai, "Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning Program takes part in "the Ministry of Education fair", to be held in "Dubai Festival City", through demonstrations of innovative use of "Etihad kit”.
Al Ebdaa Model school participated with a myriad of inventions include a solar-run vehicle. Meanwhile, Al Safa School invented, among other things, Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning Program app.
Al Fujairah Emirate participated with two inventions where students created two apps. The first is a fire alarm while the latter is used in house designing.
Students of ElsheikhaFatma School in Ras Al Khaimah participated with a variety of innovations include a 3D building design using 3D printers.
"Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning Program participation in UAE week of innovation is in line with UAE’S 2021 Vision to stimulate innovation in the national education sector and reshape it into a digital education to help transform our country into a knowledge-based economy," noted Mohammed Gheyath, the Director General of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning Program.
"The Ministry of Education has earlier put a comprehensive based-innovation plan then came Mohammed Bin Rashid Smart Learning Program to be the vehicle for development and progress in the education sector. Its fuel in that journey is integrating smart technology with traditional methods across all schools in the country," added Gheyath
He also pointed out that launching this national initiative is in line with the UAE’S 2021 Vision aims to become a world-class nation for innovation.
