His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa today returned to Bahrain following a visit to Thailand.

While in Thailand, HRH the Prime Minister participated in the funeral of the late Thai King Bhumibol Adulyadej.

HRH Premier also held a meeting with his Thai counterpart, General Prayuth Chan-ocha, and discussed with him ways to bolster cooperation and coordination between the two friendly countries in various fields.

Upon arrival at the airport, HRH the Prime Minister was welcomed by deputy premiers, the Southern Governor and a number of senior state officials.

Earlier today, HRH Premier left the Kingdom of Thailand, and was seen off at the airport by representatives of the Thai King, and government, who expressed their appreciation of the Prime Minister’s visit, and of his interest in developing Bahraini-Thai relations.
