King Abdullah II of Jordan, on Saturday received a phone call from Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, and discussed efforts exerted to push the peace process forward in the framework of ongoing coordination and consultation between the two sides.

According to the Jordan News Agency, King Abdullah was briefed by President Abbas on the outcome of his meetings with a US peace process delegation, which has recently toured the region.
