Egyptian Ambassador here Nazih el Naggary said on Wednesday that Lebanese Foreign Minister Gebran Bassil will visit Egypt within the coming few days to take part in a ministerial meeting of the European Union and the Arab League.
In statements after a meeting with the Lebanese top diplomat, Naggary added that the two sides discussed the regional situation in general and the recent developments in Lebanon in particular.
Bassil he is planning to call on Pope Tawadros II of Alexandria and Patriarch of St. Mark Diocese during his visit to Egypt, added the Egyptian ambassador.
