Moudjahid Bachir Rouis passed away Wednesday at a hospital in Avignon in France, aged 71, his relatives announced. A native of Medea, Rouis Bachir joined the National Liberation Army (ALN) in 1956, after leaving school along with many of his classmates. During the war, he was the companion of martyr Ali Khodja and was known as Nehru.
