H.H. Dr. Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, has issued an Emiri Decree to restructuring the Board of Trustees at the University Hospital Sharjah.

Emiri Decree No. 61 of 2017 stipulates that the board will be headed by Abdullah Ali Al-Mahayan, Dr. Abdulaziz Saeed Al-Muhairi as Vice President, members Dr. Ali Obaid Abdulmajid Al-Ali, Dr. Hakim Yassin, Omar Sayed Mohammed, and Abdul Hadi Abdul Aziz Ibrahim as rapporteur.

The Decree stipulates that the term for the board of trustees shall be three years from the date of its first meeting, and may be extended for a similar period or periods. The board shall continue to conduct its business at the end of its term until a new board is formed.

The Decree shall be effective from the date of issuance and shall be published in the Official Gazette. It also shall be circulated to all authorities concerned for implementation.
