A parliamentary delegation, headed by Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Malla, will take part in the 10th general session and the 2nd meeting of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly's Executive Council in Istanbul on November 21-24 to discuss principally "Sustainability of Development and Peace in Asia".

The parliamentary delegation held a coordination meeting today under the chairmanship of Representatives Council Speaker Ahmed bin Ibrahim Al Malla, the Head of the Parliamentary Delegation's Executive Committee. Members of the Asian Parliamentary Assembly from the Representatives and Shura Councils attended the meeting.

Discussions focused on ways of boosting the Bahraini parliamentary role and coordination of brotherly and friendly countries in promoting economic cooperation and sustainable development. Issues on the Asian meeting's agenda and Bahrain's contribution to achieving the sustainable development goals 2030 were also reviewed.
