Works Affairs Undersecretary of the Ministry of Works, Municipalities and Urban Planning, Ahmed Al Khayat, has received representative of the Northern Governorate’s 6th constituency, Abdulla Ashoor.
During the meeting, reference was made to the different needs of the constituency, which included implementing a sewerage network in Block 740, constructing parking spaces in old A’Ali area, implementing a storm water drainage network, revamping internal roads and avenues in Blocks 742, 740 and 738 in old A’Ali area and maintaining the internal roads of Blocks 736 and 732.
The meeting also referred to the revamp of Shaikh Zayed Avenue, increasing the number of parking spaces along A’Ali Walkway and flattening pavements in Block 726 to be used as parking spaces. 
The meeting also shed light on traffic safety in the area, especially along Roads 3408, 3625 and 3637, all of which intersect with Avenue 34. Reference was also made to traffic safety requirements along Avenue 34; dividing Blocks 732 and 734.
