Communications and IT Minister Yasser el Qadi met here Wednesday a delegation from TomTom, a company that produces traffic, navigation and mapping products.
The meeting took up ways of boosting joint cooperation and expanding the company's investments in the IT sector in Egypt.
The communications sector in Egypt has great capabilities to lure the international companies, said the minister, according to a statement issued by the ministry on Wednesday.
He also pointed out to the support of the Information Technology Industry Development Agency (ITIDA), including providing the necessary training and the qualified cadres.
The company's delegation voiced keenness on doing business in Egypt, according to the ministry.
